How To Stay Connected With Your Teammates
Online Book Club
We’re starting off PG, and it’s something the whole squad can get involved with. Take it in turns to choose a book each month and set up an online chat to review the book once you’ve finished. Some good starting points are “What was your favourite part of the book?”, “What has surprised you most about the book?” and “Would you read another book by this author?”. Book clubs in the workplace have proven to enhance working relationships and communication skills amongst colleagues so it’s a win-win! If you’re looking for something a little more established, check out Rebel Book Club.
Remote Games Night
The perfect way to add a bit of competition to your downtime and see who’s really the boss. From Trivia to Tetris, all you need to do is gather your team mates, choose your preferred platform (we go for Zoom!), and let the games begin. If you have some spare time on your hands right now, why not get creative and make your own quiz? Your initiative might come in handy during your next appraisal.
Online Happy Hour
Who says Happy Hour has to last an hour? Perfect for Friday nights, promotions, or special occasions you’d normally celebrate in the office, get the team together and host an online social! Select a designated DJ, or put together a joint playlist on Spotify for some party vibes. To make it extra special, we recommend Kocktail kits which can be delivered straight to your front door, or for any non-drinkers we suggest Punchy drinks for a super-sweet beverage.
Virtual Team Building
Maybe we’re biased, but there’s nothing better than an hour of team bonding when you can’t be there for each other in-real-life. At Leafage, we host team building workshops to motivate and inspire, as well as giving you a creative outlet from your 9-5. We provide everything you and your team will need including terrariums, plants and all the tools ready for you to turn up and have an enjoyable online experience! If you’d like to try your hand at creating a terrarium, get in touch today, or if you’re looking for something a little more edible, why not check out our friends at Grape and Fig for a DIY Food Platter Kit experience instead!
Group Fitness Challenges
Whilst the Great British Summertime is well and truly over, that doesn’t mean you can’t fit in your 30 minutes of movement each day. There are plenty of YouTube workouts from Yoga, HIIT, boxercise and TABATA’s, or why not try Joe Wick’s Couch to 5k? Get your team mates together and support each other to wellness.
