About Leafage:
Leafage is a London-based startup on a mission to bring people together to reconnect, recharge, and rediscover through nature-based experiences, such as terrarium workshops, moss wall creations, wreath making, and more. We work with clients ranging from cool startups to big names like Google, LinkedIn, Meta, Nike, and ASOS—helping them engage their valued, high-performing teams with fun, inclusive, and wellbeing-focused activities.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, confident freelancers to join us as Leafage Event Hosts. You’ll be an ambassador for Leafage, sharing our mission and values while leading nature-inspired events for corporate clients.
The Role:
With full training, you’ll become an expert in delivering our nature-based workshops. As a Leafage Event Host, you’ll be the main point of contact for our clients, making sure their experience is fun, engaging, and educational. Responsibilities include:
- Leading nature-based workshops (like terrariums, wreath making, kokedama) with confidence.
- Welcoming and engaging corporate guests, making sure they feel right at home.
- Providing top-notch customer service, answering any questions about our products and services.
- Managing the event setup and making sure the space is left just as we found it.
- Solving any issues on-site and snapping great photos and videos for social media.
Working Hours:
- 3-hour event shifts are typically scheduled from 11:00 to 14:00 (lunch & learn) or from 16:00 to 19:00 (after work), on Tuesday to Thursday.
- You'll usually host 2 events a month, with the opportunity to work extra hours and earn more.
- Working hours are flexible and based on client bookings.
Hours & Pay
- £20 per hour
- Minimum 3 hours per scheduled event
- An additional £10 per event to cover transport costs
- Events usually take place at client locations across London
- The hourly fee is paid monthly
Training:
As part of your onboarding process, we'll be providing you with in-house training. You'll get a full induction and the opportunity to shadow others, so you can hit the ground running with confidence.
